Swiss MedLab nennt sich der im Vierjahresrhytmus stattfindende Kongress der Schweizerischen Union für Labormedizin (SULM) und deren angeschlossenen Mitglieder. Die SULM hat mit der Organisation dieses Kongresses das Ziel, die Qualität der Leistungen der Labormedizin und der biomedizinischen Wissenschaften durch den Austausch zwischen den unterschiedlichen Berufsgruppen und Spezialisten zu fördern. 
Im kleinen Rahmen fand der Kongress erstmals im Jahre 2000 in Zürich statt. Er wurde ab 2004 auf (inter)nationale Ebene erweitert und wird seit dem Jahre 2012 im Herzen der Schweiz, in Bern durchgeführt.
